Becoming Independent

Hola!

The past two days have been fun, Yesterday I had either a light stomachache or altitude sickness and was feeling a little under the weather but I am feeling much better.

This morning mom left her books at home and had to go back so I walked to school solo!

I saw squash flowers at a market this morning and got very excited - came home and had a creamy soup with chopped squash flowers. For those who don't know the probability of eating squash flowers had a higher conditional probability in San Miguel than other parts of Mexico - and was in part why I wanted to come here and not Oaxaca.

This afternoon I am off to the market with friends, and meeting more friends for drinks after the intensive Spanish studiers get out of class at 6:20.

Adios!

  1. How did you know about the probability factor of more flor de calabaza here in San Miguel than other parts of Mexico?

  3. I really listen to everything you've ever told me about food you eat and catalog it. I knew about the fried basil you had in New Years a many years ago in Mendocino didn't I. . .
